That translates into double that on the backstretch at Hayward. Hayward is famous for it's backstretch wall of wind in the afternoon. It dies down later in the evening but at race time Sat it won't be ideal.
5-10 mph really isn't that bad of a wind, particularly when you're drafting off the back of a dozen other athletes. If anything, that helps Hunter, since Kiprop or whoever will be less willing to be the one breaking the wind for the last 800 meters, and therefore the pace might be slower.
