I think it is about time we start asserting ourselves as the D3 powerhouse conference that we are. Thus, we start with "tutors" that do our homework. It's the only way we'll continue to get top tier D3 recruits.
What does a top tier D3 recruit entail?
1:57 800m
4:25-4:30 mile
9:50 - 10:00 2 mile
a 16:50 5k (But they swear they ran a sub 16:30, it just isn't online anywhere).
Unless you are Olaf, of course. Then the stipulations are as followed:
800m: 1:45 (or an appearance at the USA Olympic Trials)
Mile: 3:53 or 1500m equivalent
2 mile: 7:59 (at least that is what Jake Campbell came in with)
5k: Unless you hold your country's national record, you aren't going here
10k: Have beaten Chris Solinsky in a 5 mile time trial on the Wisco course.
...but that's it
The D3 powerhouse is the WIAC. We should all transfer to Stout, LAX, EC, Oshkosh and Platteville. Collectively we'd save millions of dollars.
I feel like only 3 of the schools in that conference are "Powerhouse" schools. The others just reap the benefits of being in the same conference.
For both XC and track, their only really good schools are La Crosse, Eau Claire, and Oshkosh. Platteville doesn't count because they only have Ian.
The rest of their conference kind of blows.

Whitewaters track trophies in recent years beg the differ. Unless you were referring to programs being good at both xc AND track, if that's the case then carry on sir.
"For both xc and track..."
Took less than 2 hours for someone to come defend the WIAC
I was mostly aiming at both track and xc. I was going to throw WhiteWater in there, but I didn't want to have to write multiple paragraphs explaining why they were only good at track. Then explaining why they weren't top tier for both sports. Don't get me wrong, though, they are very solid at track.

Point, Platteville, River Falls, and Stout would all be top 2-3 in the MIAC. So I'm not sure what your argument is.
Please. None of those teams have depth. Some didn't score over 50 points at their conference track meet.

But we're not talking about track are we? How about we finish this conversation on the finish line in Louisville? We can sort out whose better there.
Shut up, you are both right. I posted a few meets where the MIAC and WIAC faced off bellow. Yes, the WIAC is good. But, their only powerhouse teams, so to speak, are Eau Claire, Oshkosh, La Crosse, and Ian Lamere. Platteville is good, but not as formidable as the previous three without Ian. The MIAC's only powerhouse is Saint Olaf (as expected), but they are still very good.
Eau Claire, Olaf, Oshkosh, La Crosse, and Ian Lamere are tier 1 teams
Platteville, Saint John's, Saint Thomas, Gustavus, Carleton (formerly) are tier 2
Stout and Bethel are tier 3
The rest are bellow that. I probably forgot some teams, but the point remains. The WIAC has a great top 3/4. But they drop off significantly after that. The MIAC has a great 1 with Olaf, and there is a drop-off, but not as significantly. The MIAC has more depth. Good? Good.

Please don't use the regional meet as any indication of how good the MIAC is. Every team (including Olaf) flopped.
He still used other meets. Sooooooo, who cares? Looks like his (or her I guess? I'm not sexist) point still stands.

Hey that's a cheap shot. You know how hard it is to get good grades with your girlfriends always calling trying to hook up with guys that can actually run?

I've seen a better sentence from a 1st grader. Try again bro.
