If warm weather was so bad for us why has everybody been moving south over the last 30 years.

This is true. At the 2009 Climate Change Conference, two keynote speakers Hugo Chavez and Robert Mugabe announced that climate change was really an attack on capitalism (refreshing honesty), and socialism is the answer. The crowd roared. Since then, both of those men utterly decimated their own countries. It is really sad.
Al Gore

It's not just about right now. If you have foresight and look into the future, like our founders did, you will notice that this pace of climate change won't be sustainable for human life forever, and when babies born today are 50 they will be faced with a serious problem.
We could assume the conservative argument is right: The argument that says "Well after 20 years of being wrong, I'll finally admit it, but I'm pretty sure I'm right this time that there's nothing humans can do about it". Or we can invest a little each year to try to curtail the problem. That would be the intellectual, forward looking approach that our founders had. Conservatives, in an attempt to resist change, have seen their intellect regress about 300 years.

Heard Solyndra is looking for some new investors.

Lol, Dwumfkin got owned so hard on page 1 he changed his handle to 'undenier.' Protip to Dwumfkin - you have to mix up your writing style a bit better.

Hello 2011. In 2016 solar industry revenue is growing at 30% per annum and Peabody Coal filed for bankruptcy.
BTW, What is the optimal temperature of the planet?

I love this question ^. Folks who post such brilliant rhetoric don't even know that it exposes how utterly ignorant they are. Just fantastic stuff.
Solar City reported godawful earnings and the stock has tanked and Sunedison filed for bankruptcy. Solar industry is hurting.

This is great news. The benefits of slightly warmer temperatures greatly outweigh the few drawbacks.
That is true but why waste a good opportunity to consolidate power and confiscate wealth.
Two things -
1) until people start dying from record warm global temperatures, who really cares?
2) my Mid-Atlantic town has had another record cold Spring. We have yet to hit above 70 for two days consecutively

The danger of climate change isn't simply that people will die from warm temps (though that has and will happen). The biggest danger is sea level rise, interruption of food supply, and drought.

1. already happening both directly and indirectly
2. seriously? that's what you consider a counter-argument? Hey, it has been cold in my town! Well, it rained in my town all night long. I guess the world has changed to the Great Flood!
Alarmists frequently cite one off and local "weather" when it suits them so spare us the phony outrages.

I was curious how many posts would be made before Al Gore's name was mentioned.
He must be getting to be old news. It used to be brought within the first 10 posts.

I sometimes have unusual interests but I find the comments from the deniers really interesting. I can't tell if they are part troll who ideas fully embraced.
I think most are part troll. I believe this because for the most part they are not given by those using a registered name.

Totally missed my point, didn't you? Let me 'splain it to you: denier throws cheap shots around about those he disagrees with while implying how the liberals approach AGW is the way to go, totally ignoring the half billion dollars the head liberal wasted on Solyndra (and more on other companies).
