Indoor 5k
1. You are a freshmen.
2. Try to run 14:00 as a goal by senior year and see how it goes.
Talk to you in 3 years!
Are you suggesting that stretching is a cause of injury?
You must be some kind of god
To bad you probably just jinxed yourself, remember to ice and Advil.

He said running, not jogging.

Some people aren't injury prone. Be careful and don't get lazy about injury prevention though

That's exactly what I said a few weeks before I obtained my first injury. That same injury has been a seasonal reoccurrence ever since.

Is this Brian Lawlor?
You didn't need to add the D3. Between the slow ass time and dumb question, we already figured.Mr. Meyer wrote:

Lol as if that makes it any better!
You do realize there are probably hundreds of high school freshmen who can run your time?

I know for a fact that there aren't hundreds of high school freshmen who can run a 15:27 5k. That's roughly equivalent to a 9:25 3200. I don't know for certain, but I'd guess there are fewer than 20 high school freshmen in the country that put up a 9:25 their freshmen year each track season.. Heck, it could be fewer than 10 freshmen that do that.
15:27 is a fine time for a freshman. Don't listen to the haters. You could be running 14:30s by your junior year.
Also, you're just getting into your college career. You have a lot of training ahead that could result in injury. I've had friends and teammates make it many years before getting injured and then have to call it a career due to injuries. Don't be too smug. Train hard and be diligent about doing the little things to prevent injuries.
Thanks man
