After realizing that all the high schoolers have been busy( myself included) I have decided to start this thread back up. Hoping to see some of the guys return and to see some great gains from a solid season of winter training.

Monday: 4 miles with some Tabata* and strides at the end. 6 miles total
Tuesday: Threshold Workout** 6.6 miles total
Wednesday: Track Workout*** 4.6 miles total
Thursday: AM 4 mile shakeout at 7:30 pace
PM: 5 miles at 7:03 pace
Friday: AM 4 mile shakeout at 7:30 pace
PM 6 mile tempo at 6:13
Saturday: 7 miles at 7:03 pace
Sunday: Another Tabata workout. 4 miles total.
* Tabata is a treadmill workout we like to do. 10 mph at 10% incline. You run for 20 seconds and get 10 seconds rest. Did four sets.
** Rolling 200s on the track. 16 of them with the "on" at 38-41 and the "off" at 50 seconds
*** Did an 800(2:19) 600(1:41) 2x400(65,67) then 2x200(fast)
Total:47 miles. Felt pretty solid this week as I didn't get to race to do another priority. Excited that I get to race this Friday though. I truly believe that I can qualify in the 1600, without at doubt.
