17 yr old HS junior will be running her first XC season.
Missed last season with "metatarsalgia", also diagnosed as "tendonitis". It was not a stress fracture.There are no current injuries/pain for past five months.
Current training is 35-40 mpw in Nike Pegasus.
Racing on the track this season with Asics Hyperspeed 7.
1500/3000 this track season, 5:02/10:51
The plan is to get used to spikes very gradually over the coming months so that she is ready to race in them by September.
What are good spikes to consider, given the information above?
