Yeah but were you consistantly closer? For a while there were races timed both ways. For example at the night of speed you had
Hines: 9.9/10.03
Smith: 9.9/10.14
Greene: 9.9/10.10
You have 3 9.9s. with a difference in real time (assuming the electronics is accurate to within .01s) .13->.24. I got assume that it was the same timers at the same meet.
And obviously with football 40s you have issues with the rules (what do you have 2 or 3 guys timing it and taking the slowest or fastest, what are they running on (turf versus a track)) which make comparisions across events iff at best. HOpe this gets a guy a camp call though.
