He won't be named; it's why he retired.

He was doped to the eyeballs the whole time
Same as Bekele
They were on the sauce before they ever stepped on the track
Including when he moved up to the marathon?
So, we know that Coe's predecessor, Lamine Diack, was protecting any athlete or country capable of paying his bribes and allowing some to be banned if they refused (like Cakir). Is this set of 9 Ethiopian positives a result that WADA via African Doping Agency found independently of Ethiopian Athletics? Were there other sets of results like this before for Kenya and Ethiopia but they were suppressed? Will Coe let even British positives come out? They need to disclose all their records for us to see what in the past has been suppressed because Ethiopia could not have just screwed up now for the first time a few months after Diack left.
It is a fair question: why are We seeing more of this now?
You are seeing more positives because they are now testing for new goodies. Once they crack NOP the list of banned goodies and methods will grow by a lot.
Paul Tergart threw down a ~4:00 mile in the middle of a 12K XC race. You be the judge.

Was Tergat doping too?
Who was the first clean finisher in the 1996 10k? .
Bingo!... and half of Ethiopia would take a bullet for Haile. He will never be implicated even if he were shown to be guilty.

Is this for real?

Please post evidence of what constitutes 'new goodies', please.
Jjjj has got it right. This only makes the sport more suspect.
Not that the IAAF and Coe need any more help... They've done an outstanding job.
Nop is untouchable and the UK will not fall. Paula was clean..

Why? Busting someone like Haile would be utterly fantastic for the sport given the state that it is now in. It would show that the governing bodies are actually serious about outing cheaters and that they are not covering things up. It would start to resotre my confidence that the sport's governing bodies are behaving in an imparital manner.
Much worse was what happened with PR who had at least 3 abnormal blood tests with values that were not seen in any other named British female distance runner. The IAAF then started trotting out different execuses one after the other on her behalf with zero transparency on the entire blood profile of the athlete. That smacked of a cover-up job.
If a big name such as Haile or Bekele gets outed I will personally celebrate by hammering out 10 miler with a few fist pumps along the way. Sadly I don't think that this is likely.

I think Olympic silver after being passed and then coming back is worth some modest lifting of a couple of fingers.
But I guess it can't compare to all the outstanding performances you have realized in your life.

Gebrselassie is a charming fellow who was scintillating to watch--probably the most exciting long distance runner ever, with the possible exception of Emil Zatopek (I am possibly the only person on this forum who saw Zatopek run).
Unfortunately, it is looking increasingly likely that Gebrselassie was a drug cheat. And his recent political statements suggest he is a "party man" who will embrace the Ethiopian establishment in all it's authoritarian chicanery. It's sad to see a man who was so magnanimous and brilliant on the track fall in line with a pack of odious goons.
He lives in Ethiopia so he has to avoid pissing off the rulers. Based on what he's said about PEDs, I don't think he used them.

He retired because he was a senior citizen.
My Amharic translation is not very good, but from what I can decipher, there appears to be a fish who has been absent from their training group's camp and has pulled out of upcoming competitions. Supposedly, this athlete is at the level of a celebrity. I don't know what constitutes a celebrity in Ethiopia, but I assume it's someone big.

Are you Travis Tygart, fearless leader, of the USADA? If you are then your job is to FIND OUT what those goodies are.

The biggest fish in Ethiopia is Farah. The ladies love it when he cums to visit.
