We are skeptical for a reason.

Good Luck Jill!!!!!!!!
Go for it, girl!!
Tell me someone is in Pittsburg watching out for "incredible" things to occur this morning?
got the live tracking going and it doesn't look like she started the race.

Probably finished yesterday.

Crossing the start line would slow her unnecessarily. Wait for her finish time and photos, I'm crossing my fingers for a world record! Go Jill!

Don't be so negative! She probably just took that silly timing thing off her bib.
Drizzling there. Not great for a record attempt. Probably pulled out and is targeting another race for the American record.

That's what they are saying now. Targeting another Spring marathon.
Why waste the debut in subpar conditions.
Another family emergency? What crappy luck!
Did anyone check the police blotter for family emergencies?

I was really looking forward to hearing about her new world record. I worry the pressure of trying to perform with the world watching may be too much for her. She should just run the course at night when nobody is around and record her time with a stopwatch for accuracy. The important thing is just to go out and set the record, not entertaining her fans.

All zeros in the results: http://dsgpm.xacte.com/
2:39, 2:42, and 2:47 for top three women. She could have mopped the floor with them.
What is her next phantom race?

Indeed. Even if she'd only run a 2:19, it would reflect poorly on the rest of the field.
Obviously she didn't race out of respect for these ladies.

Cool. I knew he is in great shape, but didn't know that he improved that much!
