Maybe it was unofficially, during a training run.

A bit of misinformation - it was a training run of 3 miles timed at 15:14. I think everyone just assumed she was sub-15
and it was a very hilly course. Personally, I think she sub-15 material and capable of taking the 10-mile record

You don't have to enter the race to watch the record attempt. In fact, very few registered runners will actually see her cross the line.
Of course you don't have to enter it to see it and if she breaks the record everyone will be behind her, but they are using the record attempt to entice people into entering. From Facebook:
"Second exciting development...local runner Jill Greathouse will be attempting to break the American Female 10 mile record at this year's race! She had an unofficial time of 51:31 during a training run on our course, beating the current 10 mile record by 9 seconds! We are in the process of having the course USATF certified, so Jill can go for the Official record on March 6th.
Get yourself registered asap, so you can participate in what may be a historic moment for Quakertown!"
I was with her when she did it. It was quite a hill but there was a pail at the top. But boy was our mom pissed when I fell down and she came tumbling after. Freaking broke my crown!
I've definitely heard about a Jill from around that area that is very talented

This post just adds to the intrigue - a 15:14 5k could be read by a dyslexic as 51:41 10 mile.
Add that to those already mentioned and I think the answer is somewhere in between:
It's a 10k not a 10 mile time
She's a dog (breed unspecified)
She's a wheelchair racer
She's a relay team name (this would still be an excellent effort BYW)
She's dressed in drag (That's not a woman, she's a man baby, yeah!)
Anything else?
Oh, and "she" has terrible tastes in restaurants.

I thought the taqueria she "liked" looked interesting.
You never know
My 800m PR in HS through freshman year in college was 2:03. I had run the 800m many times, split 2:01 on relays several times. I was mainly a mile and up type of runner. Before our sectionals as a sophmore during the outdoor season, coach had us run a 800m race in practice. I ran 1:53. That was my first time under 2:00m.
I coach the boys and girls track programs at Quakertown high school. There is a middle aged woman who frequents our track for interval sessions. She doesn't look super fit, but I've put a watch on her out of curiosity a few times. One day I saw her run 6x 400 well under 60 and looked pretty smooth...
She followed that up with 3x 20x400 barefoot on grass in 61-62.
I'd say she has a shot.

Bigotry.
I think they catfished all of you.
terrible tastes in restaurants? please explain
The course has yet to be certified and somehow I doubt USADA will be at the Quakertown Rotary 10 miler performing drug tests, but go for it!!!
Quakertown is basically Rossi's back yard. How great would it be for him to show up. That course is pretty tough not sure if his car could break 52mins.
I heard that Rossi will be pacing her and providing DJ service for the race. He is so fast he can do both.
