Yes, he looked (and probably felt) like crap nearly the entire time, but he was determined. The winners had showered and had a bite to eat, and this guy was still out there suffering. One of the great DFLs. Well done.

I am disappointed and disgusted that LRC did not get a post race interview with Barnicle.

my buddy works LAFD, he was down there watching the race and he keeps telling me there's this homeless looking guy wearing what looks like Big5 clothing out on the course...with a bib...in the race, no bandit. I'm like, you sure? he said this guy keeps coming by, but it's like he's hobbling down the street chasing the bus or something...haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Love you Barny, thanks for the laughs

Pretty sure he qualified awhile ago but quit running after. Now he just smokes a ton of weed instead of training.

I can confirm that Barnicle did attempt to submit PBR as his aid station beverage, but was denied. He spent a good deal of the race walking, it was awesome.
