I get Mebs perspective, but I hope he realizes his wrong here and apologizes to Rupp for going on for minutes about it just after Rupp became the trials champion in his first marathon. I think meb got nervous once he got talking, realizing that it probably was wrong to slam him, and in his nervousness he got worse and couldn't stop. Then afterwards he's realizing what an (out of character) jerk he just was and he's super uncomfortable.
