Meb and Galen really do not like each other

They don't need to like each other. They need to run fast.

Meb reacted like a guy who just got caught gossiping about his friend to the whole school. theyre probably marathon bros now.

This is where Galen could use some work.

After walking in while Meb is discussing the clipping story, he should have grabbed the mic and basically said.

"Ya, sorry bout that, this whole on the road thing is new to me ",

Would have been apologizing and maybe even getting a laugh.

galen could have scored a bazillion points if he would have sat down and leaned over and put his arm around meb with a cheshire cat grin... would have been funny as he**! too bad he's (seemingly) a robot.

that was perfect timing though with galen's arrival during meb's explanation of the "conversation". haha

Rump is a great runner but unfortunately he has the personality of a slab of concrete.

Meb is obviously liked by many. as should be.

but was it really that difficult to bite his tongue a bit and just say they were maybe too close to each other during the race and leave it at that. no reason to publicly humiliate your new olympic teammate. how was galen supposed to react in that kind of awkward situation. I would have been taken aback too.

Maybe you missed the fact that Galen doesn't even get there until Meb is wrapping up his answer? I doubt he would have started off like that if Galen was sitting next to him when the question was asked.

Dear sweet meb showed his true colors....well, it's not the first time ...as you may recall he never thanked Hall for holding the chase pack back so he could get away and win Boston...now this ...he is a cry baby because a first timer beat his ass...snif,snif...poor me...can't wait until Rio when meb gets trampled...

I'm with Rupp. Meb is whining. Meb is amazing though, right? How do you keep doing this at 40? Pretty unbelievable. Seriously, how? What gives him that edge? Another team for him, too bad for Puskedra.

Rupp did nothing wrong. He raced on the Meb's shoulder to help him win. He had no obligation to let Meb draft off him. It's the Olympic trials after all.
