I'm planning on running the 5k at Dodgers Staduim before I go to watch the trials race. Anyone here have any plans to run and does anyone have experience with the course?

I would like to know also...I heard about some big hill??
Bump
it is hilly. very hilly. expect to run about 45-60s slower than your track pr. maybe slower. no joke. nice though, kinda fun to run past the police academy bar/clubhouse, and the stadium area is cool, or was to me when I lived near there.
Are you sure there are hills? I ran last year and I don't remember seeing any on the Dodgers 5K course. Are you thinking of the Valentines day 5k down in Long Beach? That course is waaaaaay hilly.
Hmm on that course I would recommend doing a few burpies and crunches before the start to warm up the core and posterior chain. Around the 2 mile is where the race really starts though. This is when you hit the cobblestones so maybe put a pair of trail shoes out the night before so you can switch for the terrain once you get there. Also don't forget to eat two eggs for energy and rungum to complete your racing edge.
well it has been several years since I ran it, but it was not flat, to say the least. perhaps 60s slow is a stretch, but at least 30-45 minimum, possibly more if you are bigger like I am. Look at where dodger stadium is- it's on top of a giant hill, there is nowhere to go but down and around the hill, which means you are going to run...some hills. enjoy it, make sure you get to the trials in time.
