Last time i checked Derrick has won what 3 US titles in a row. Heath has won zero.
Rojo you are such a dweeb. That post was obvious hype and excitement over Heath's win today. Nothing about Derrick or who is The best XC runner in the US.
Learn nuance.

Guys like Heath are OK on the track but not world beating, but beasts on a muddy XC course where things are completely different .
Heath has been on the cusp of being a world class athlete for a few years... He's run 3:34 for the 1500m and he was very close to bumping Rupp for the 5000 team last year. He likely would have placed top ten at world's if he was on the team.
It'll be interesting to see if he's made a jump in fitness on the track

Mo won two titles. Not "multiple".
Seriously? What do you think multiple means?
Yes seriously. It doesn't mean two.
Or maybe he's just another guy who wants to do as well as he can place-wise and doesn't care about times? Is that a crime? Mo never said he wanted to be the best there ever was. I think he's perfectly happy with two Olympic Golds and five WC Golds and just wants to add more to the collection.

Oh my lord you are so dumb. If you have multiple state championships, that means you have more than 1. Could be 9, could be 2.
He was the key to jager's 3.32 in Portland.

Heath IS world class for xc, but not really for track yet. College runners run 3:34. Centro ran 3:36 as a sophomore I believe. Yeah, he may have nearly clipped Rupp in a 5K, AFTER Rupp raced the 10K and 5K prelim. But Rupp looked as flat as he ever has, which is not too surprising given the weight of the allegations last summer and his lack of racing going into it. Not things I would use to justify where Heath is on the track.

People like you are what I hate about the internet.
Well it makes sense Mo got beat at a muddy Xc race. For those of us that have been following him on social media we have seen him do pretty much all his training on a treadmill. Doesn't translate well to Xc. Still back him for the summer success though.
OK no you are right, Kenyans train on muddy XC courses akin to Scotland.
Warm weather training mean anything to you?

Salazar can't coach XC!!!!
FARAH dynasty is over.
Are you in middle or elementary school?

The heat was not a significant factor. It was only 79 degrees.
This has been debunked here so many times. With the humidity the heat index was 90. It was not good running conditions. Why do you think there were so many dudes so far behind him?

He's in middle school. You will understand this kind of humor when you get there.

Multiple: "..having or involving several parts, elements, or members.."
Several: ".. more than two but not very many."
You are correct sir. Three would qualify as multiple.
Mo was beaten. Mo is a doper. The guy that beat Mo must be a doper.
Multiple is almost never used for two. It can be, but we have the words two, a couple, and several for that purpose.
and pair
Off the juice.
Heath should skip indoors and seek out every muddy XC race on the international scene. He's obviously better suited to the conditions relative to his competition on the track. I really think it has something to do with his running form, which is quite odd to me, and perhaps that he carries slightly more body mass than a typical distance runner.
