And now, knowing that Ali dominated Liston in two different fights, you first claim to refute my claim that Ali controlled him with powerful flurries--which he did--by staying that Liston could take Foreman's punch in sparring! What could that possibly have to do with whether and how Ali dominated Liston???
And second, you want to refute the same claim by talking about sparring. Sparring doesn't mean diddly squat. If Liston threw the second fight with Ali--which is not clear--why would that mean he merited more title fights? Ali had plenty of tougher fights than Liston and Foreman was also substantially better in the 1970s. Among those historical figures who didn't get their proper chances for titles, Sonny Liston is just not one of them.
