Does anyone have information on Learning to Run, a book written by Mal Whitfield in 1967? Is it a memoir? Perhaps about his time in Africa? I am aware of, but have not read. his autobiography Beyond the Finish Line.

My condolences to his family. He was one of our greatest half milers and a very good 400m man as well. His military service is really to be commended. A google books search for learning to run, mal whitfield, brought up this information on p.16 of the first entry, a picture of him coaching in Africa and the fact that he coached national teams in Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and multiple other countries in East Africa, as well as starting running programs in those countries.
He died >7 years ago...
For a minute I thought either I had dreamed that or he had some how died again.
