That's not going to happen.
Track and Field is a HUGE ratings booster for the IOC. Rio without track and field would be far bigger hit to the "IOC brand" than any old sports federation corruption scandal.
They could show the 100m sprint event then cut to a Diack perpwalk in prison dress and most viewers would not put 1 + 1 together.
It didn't bother anyone that a medalist declared a banned sports agent a dear friend during her medal interview at London.
