The race will be very slow. The course is slow, no entrant is currently head and shoulders faster than anyone else, and everyone will just have one thought - finish in the top 3. The fast half marathoners will do what fast American half marathoners always do - go out fast and flame out.

Unlikely anyone debuts to make the team. Even more unlikely that a Vigil coached athlete breaks 2:13 EVER.
If Ritz is healthy (big if) he doesn't run slower than 2:11:59. And if he doesn't win, I'd bet that he runs faster than that. He's a huge favorite to make the team and anyone counting him out already is blind to his career.
