Does anybody know if the course was actually a 5k at the twilight meet? Everybody ran extremely fast, breaking their prs by significant amounts. Also, on the results, the average mile paces don't line up with the final times...for example what was Ariel Keklak's actual mile pace, because a 6:07 page (like it says on the results) is much slower than a 17:25 5k. It just seems odd that everybody ran so fast.
Well is it a flat course? Never seen it but when everyone runs pr's there's usually a reason. Either it's short or wicked easy (as in downhill).
I can attest to it being flat. Ran it two years ago, my senior year, and ran mid 15s I think. 15:30 or something. We got to what they called the 2 mile in like 9:44, and I can guarantee you it was not that fast. The course itself is pretty quick but it's also short.
