Seriously.
#1... if you're breaking into somebody's home, you should anticipate that somebody is going to be there, because uhhh, it's THEIR home.
#2... in the case of a home invasion, most Americans that do own guns, own handguns for exactly that reason. You don't go pull your AR-15 out... you pull your 357 out. Game over.
#3... if you're in MY home, my first thought is that you're armed. Again, game over.
#4... what is your lefty retarded fascination with 'assault rifles' anyway? The vast majority of gun crime is not committed with 'assault rifles'... they're hand guns used by inner-city minorities. And that is a fact!
Are you aware that it would have been nearly impossible for the majority of these mass shooters to take out anywhere near the number of victims hath they not had a gun that carries a large amount of bullets?
Also, are you aware that out of every single one of the victims families from newtown, aurora, and now Oregon, were against gun control BEFORE their child/family member was killed, but now are completely for it?
Im sure if you were a woman, you wouldn't want to be FORCED into giving a painful birth to a child you don't want. Im sure if your family member was a victim of one of these mass shootings, you would be all for gun control and the banishment of machine guns.
one day soon, the feds need to come to a final decision of guns and abortion and prostitution and marijuana. make everyone play by the same rules no matter what state they are in. no laws should be left up to the states. that's the problem is that the states have TOO MUCH power and the feds have TOO LITTLE power. im glad we already got the gay marriage thing solved on the federal level, except for a few people like you and kim davis that we can ridicule each day. the feds need to come down on these remaining issues and that ruling needs to be FINAL. no coming back and rewriting the law or re-examine because of something that some total stranger does offends you and your christian family. the efforts of our legislators need to be invested in real issues such as our safety and our future, and that issue starts right here and right now with stricter gun control.
