This weekend I have a 3 mile race and I would like to have a good goal time. Last weekend I ran a 18:20 5k with a heat index of 101° and it was fairly hilly. The 3 mile should be cooler (In the high 80s) and it is flat.

5k PR is 17:45 and mile PR is 5:01
I could see you running a 17:15 if you run well, depending on whether you're good in the heat and good on hills or not. Report back w/ any more questions and I'll try my best to answer, also, I'd appreciate it if you'd report back w/ how the race goes once you race it. I love seeing how accurate my predictions are, and seeing how the people who make these threads run. Good luck!
Thanks, if I can remember, I will definitely respond with a time hopefully under 17:15.
Finished in a 17:10!
Great work! Now get that 5k to 17:10!
