Let me know if Ryan Hall even starts the race.
Ryan Hall will inspire the winner to win!
Wow what an excellent field. Hall and Sambu.
He has been quiet on Twitter for the last couple of weeks with no mention of his entry in the race.
I am a Ryan Hall fan so I would like to see him put in a legitimate effort. Has he toed the line since LA disaster six months ago -- not including Gold Coast where I think he was a half marathon pacer? Any rumors about his fitness?

Don't underestimate Sambu
he paced Rupp to 26:44 last year, and held on for 26:54ish. I doubt Farah has that capability.
he's run 27:20s on the road multiple times, ran 60min for the half FTW in a BAA half.
He's my favorite if there's a Farah upset. I'm not predicting that he will beat Farah, but if anyone can do it, it's him.
really annoying mo keeps running this worthless race
rieti is on same day
it wouda been better for his "legacy" if he'd taken a shot at 7'17 / 7'18 in rieti on that day instead
You mad, bro?
Props to Mohammad Farah for that!
Besides that fact that Hall has run 59:42 around 8 years ago what has he done since then to even earn the honor of being mentioned in the title with Mo and Sambu? Being very serious. He is treated like he is still the same runner he was 8 years ago and since 2011/2012 he hasn't been even someone that could be mentioned as a top 10 runner in the US. I hope I'm wrong, but if the pace is fast I don't see Hall being within 2 minutes of the leaders.
Farah ran 26:50 this year at Pre.

Umm, come on now bro. I don't like Farah but of course he has that capability. He has proven it not only in his times but in the scalps he has taken down.
It used to be a great race with good depth. Now it's terrible, it's like a'made for tv' movie with a cast of 2nd rate runners who turn up to make the Mobot look good. Any credibility wit had was list last year when Mo's pacemaker waited for him.

Nothing against Sambu, who's a great runner, but Farah absolutely can run a 26:54 right now.
he's made some steps w/r/t his legacy outside of championships this year with the 59:32 and 8:03 runs, as well as some tough competitions at Dubai and Lausanne, but outside of championships he is primarily about the money and the Brits, unfortunately. I'd love to see him go after very fast times in Europe now. He has the chance to erase the only existing questions about his status among the greats and he's missing them.

Part of me has always wondered if Hall is a half marathoner at heart who just happened to run a few good marathons in his prime.
Honestly, the race drop outs (while inexcusable from the standpoint of character and professionalism) may have been the result of Hall's slow-twitch capacity just not being on par with elite marathoners.
I'm curious to see how he does in a half marathon against solid competition. If there's a distance I think he can still be competitive in, it's 13.1 miles.

You guys are silly. He means the ability to lead, pace and front run that time. Sambu was a beast with that pacing getting Rupp to 8-9k. If they got him again this year for pre farah would have been in the 26:30s. No way Rupp would have got the record last year without sambu. He's a very strong runner. With that said I still think Farah will win. Dudes just trying to say sambu is capable of kamworor type efforts which we know Farah can handle.

I know Farah will being getting some $$$$ for this race, but wow, it's going to be hard to get up for this after such a strong showing at World's.
But then again, Floyd Mayweather is fighting Andre Berto the night before this race, so I guess $$$$ can be a nice little motivator.

The fact that Hall is running a race is itself newsworthy. He is the fastest white dude of all time (2:04:58-a Boston; 2:06:17 London). With that being said, if he finishes within two minutes of the winner (1:01:XX), this website will crash.

He's a white US American.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
