Kidding, but other than one 1 minute piece about his amazing and selfless (am I the only one to doubt that) protest to protect Brooks stake in him (by not running in Brooks on the world stage and then raising his shoes high had he done well), he was not on my mind for the very reasons you mention. Other than rooting for Clayton. Brave would have been to flaunt his Brooks logos at every opportunity. So I agree. If he did not care enough to be there, and do his protesting there, I join him in not caring. If he comes back for the Olympics great. Otherwise he tossed away a great late venture and will fizzle away silently with very little attention on Brooks. Time to reach out to Paris again to get some attention. Great runner choosing an odd way to, potentially, exit. Where's Khadevis Robinson when we need him?
