Do you really jerk and clean fifty 200 lbers?
I did but I got injured, so I will be taking it down to 145 when I get back. No pain no gain, though
and you too should check out crossfit. I would say 20 minutes of crossfit is equivalent to 1 hour of running as hard as you can while doing bicep curls. Check out boards.crossfit.com for some info on getting started. Where do you live, bro?

So this ex-NFL linebacker has been preaching to everyone at my gym and in my running group that "crossfit is better cardio then running. 20 minutes of crossfit is equivalent to 1 hour of running." I don't see how that can be but since I am not well versed in running science I kept my mouth shut. My running group has gone from 10 to 3.
Is crossfit really that great???? Everyone is doing it!
Your name is very accurate, and it's recommending something that you should probably try. Also, the question at hand is, which is better for cardio (Cross fit Vs. Running). The fact that women want to "smush" you doesn't apply in anyway to this situation, if anything my point is being backed up by what you stated.
bro, you make no sense.
bro, 50 Burpees, 30 sec battle ropes, 50 deadlifts @ 225lbs, sprint 50 m
HOW MANY OF YOU RUNNERS COULD DO THAT?????

Ten miles over hills at 5:45 pace. How many of you crossfitters could do that?
Sorry for all my rude and crude behavior in the past. I’ve actually come to apreciate running a lot over the past few years. I recently came in 3rd at a local 5k race (20:55). Not quite as fast as some of you guys, but I’m proud of how far I’ve comw from my 25 minute 5ks.
