Good point. Felix was amazing. Had she been 4th leg, might have been too far back to even think of going for it. It was perfect but for SRR slowing at the end (she started in blocks, so anyone comparing times is comparing apples & oranges) and the Jamaican ran an amazing leg from blocks at under 50. Pacing is the key. The American did it well in the men's relay, where the Jamaicans did not. I thought Felix was at risk, but she looked too strong to fade and sure enough she did not. Relay leg for the ages! But the better team won. As for team composition, yes, it seemed a few of the wrong people were chosen, but guessing after the race is not guessing at all. We are all experts once the race is run.
