CLEANEST WC EVER.
Awesome job from the ladies. But I think wit that, Kenya wins in medal standings.
Why did we have Sanya on our 4 x 4? She didn't even make the final at USA's?
i got
50.9 SRR
50.4 Hastings
47.68!!!!! Felix

He wasn't a contender or a factor in this race at all. They don't hand out a medal to you because you medaled in a previous championship, you have to earn them, not just talk about how you think you can win gold. I don't know how anyone even thought he had a shot at medaling in this field. There was no chance and his showing illustrated that.
Agreed. What this WC M1500 final has showed is that if you are not a sub 3:30 1500m runner you will not be in contention for a top 3 placing.
Huge leg by Felix and an ok run by Hastings, but McCorory and especially Richards-Ross weren't good.
Womens 5K. - GD did not look remotely tired at the end. I say she gave it away to her compatriot. Very mysterious.
Mercury biggest choke of 2015. Fastest time in the world and couldn't make the US team. Loses the lead in the 4x4 fresh. Good season...
Maurice Greene is doing a sh#tty commentating for Eurosport!
Allyson Felix is amazing!
Allyson ran a fantastic leg, but the baton exchange with Mcorory was awful.
US ran slightly slower than in World Relays in May.

And with a better squad.. Felix was definitely an upgrade from Francis, who ran 51.40 on the opener in Nassau. So the other three collectively ran considerably slower than in May.
Drouin gold, Zhang & Bondarenko share silver - do they still give out a bronze (for Barshim)?
Anyway, even if Team USA collectively was a bit of a shitshow we can at least appreciate Canada doing well. It's sort of like seeing your younger brother run a nice race.
Not a fluke that SRR didn't make the USA individual team.

No.
44.7 first leg (HT) for US so that's like a sub 45 open. not bad.

44.2 for US on 2nd leg.
