Bad tactic for Jenny following Dibaba's move after 800m. Rowbury never was a factor.

Jenny lost her shoe.
Didoper's last 800meters 1:57 will be faster than the 800 final...
Alright, I am becoming skeptical on Dibaba's cleanliness... She went 57 for the 3rd lap and closed like a mad man...
She looked completely relaxed and was smiling the whole way through.
Unbelievable ... Jenny and Shannon begging for the pace to be HORRIBLY slow, and then it comes back to bite them big time.
Dibaba's last 800
57.47, 28.65, 30.80
SO what does that add up to
So 57.47 and then 59.45.
So 1:56.92!!OMG. I started a thread on this fact alone:
Insane. She closed something like 1'57 high. I'm speechless.
When Dibaba went hard at 800 to go, Jenny (and Shannon really) went especially hard to match, and it looked like JS was sprinting with 700 to go down the back straight. Certainly not good for either of them.
Hassan was moving so well with 250 to go I almost stood up and started yelling for her! Obviously Dibaba proved untouchable as she powered away the last 100, and then Kipyegon took silver back from Hassan. Certainly more exciting for 1400 meters than I expected.
Close to 1:57.5 for the last 800m. Has anything like that ever been done before?! She'd clean u p the 800m if she was in it
She was cruising. There is just no way to beat her at 1500.
A smiling last 800 meters in 1:57.
What a joke.
Track is a dirty dirty dirty sport.
That is unreal!! Fantastic athlete Dibaba is!!
Jenny/Shannon: It's going to be tactical, anyone has a ch......
Dibaba: ha ha ha ha ha (zoom) ha ha ha ha ha
deer god that was fantastic.
field blown apart
Dibaba DEVASTATED the field.
She could probably win the 400 by the looks of it.
That was the most transparently dodgy race I've seen since the London men's 1500. Maybe even the Beijing Olympic men's 1500.
God these championships have been horrible to watch.
Shameful shameful shameful. Like watching a dude close a 1500 in 1:44.
Didoper.
Is the phrase "goes home devastated" better suited for Jenny and Shannon in this 1500m race, than any other race?

Right, this was soooooo stupid. So they walked for 2 laps then had to immediately break into a dead sprint again a competitor who clearly superior in all aspects! They would have been better off working together and trying to keep the pace honest, speeding out their efforts over all 4 laps!
about simpson and rowbury they were never a factor. Kipyegon also had a great run! Really impressed by her. Wonder what her last 800 was?
