I have a little thumb-sized metronome that I use on my runs that works great. It beeps along and has helped my cadence tremendously. It is decidedly NOT water/sweat proof, so I keep it in a little thumb-sized ziplock baggy and stick it in my key pocket in my running shorts. It has helped me for over a year, and I rarely run solo without it.
I hesitate to wear it on group runs, however, for the obvious fear of annoying the crap out of my buddies. In the winter, I tuck it into my running beanie and put it on the quietest setting, so I can hear it without bothering anyone else. In the summer, tho, I have no way to keep it close to my ear. I usually wear a visor in the summer, and SURELY there is a way to rig something to my visor so I can keep it close to my ear. I am trying to find either a new waterproof metronome with a volume setting and a clip, or something inconspicuous that I can put my metronome into and attach to my visor. This way, I can keep it close to my ear and keep it on the quietest setting so I don't bug anyone with my beeping (and I can bug them with my stories and flatulence, instead).
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance, team :-)
