Great race! Awesome that Bromell and De Grasse share the bronze lol.
Powell and Gay sucked. Glad that's over.

Bolt just beat a bunch of drug cheats, you guys are out of it if you think he's clean.
No way Gatlin would blow it on purpose.
Walking into the stadium, there was a big buzz. Scalpers were outside, tickets are sold out and then Bolt barely makes the final after a stumble.
We've also got the me's 800 semis and women's 1500 semis.

I really thought Bolt would win, just thought it would be faster... what was the wind?
De Grasse is tied for 3rd, depending on the official time could end up with a medal
Oh I don't... Bolt is the GOAT doper in T&F. As long as he doesn't make the wrong enemies his a** will be covered forever. The higher powers will do everything privately to protect him. Short of a whistleblower with some damming evidence he'll never be busted. Carl Lewis 2.0

Yeah, we all know that it´s impossible to beat a drug cheat. I´m going to start taking PED´s, run a 100 in 12 seconds. After that, everyone who runs faster is a doping cheat.

You are intentionally skipping the part about 100m runners who are capable of running under 10 seconds clean, then take PED's and still lose.
Thank you Usain Bolt for insuring that I do not get a zero on my picks, which otherwise have been utterly scrambled everywhere from marathon to 800m. Amos and Aman out? Souleiman scratched? And on and on. Shame that Symmonds isn't there to pick up another world medal. Glad to see Rudisha in there still against Tuka.
I don't agree with that.
Especially when they already know the time of the first heat. (Even if they don't see it there's got to be a way that they somehow got the information).
Amos refused to push the pace (a currently 1:42 man), letting the first lap pass in a pedestrian 54 seconds. He just flat out underestimated the kick of the guy from Qatar and he ended up paying the ultimate price.
Moreover, he did so in order to expend the least possible energy (not only him but all the others), so in that regard there's has to be a trade-off for that teorical benefit.
Jager somehow managed to avoid that, but he probably is a bit fresher than the others. High risk high reward i guess, but if you ask me it ain't worth the risk in a workd final.
A sub 1:42 man might as well go 52-53,5.
I think they split 2:03 at 700m. That makes it only slightly slower that her WR finisher, at 2:03. Only there was no incentive to go faster + a rather pedestrian 1000m of balance (however not as ridiculous as the 3:01 1000m in the first heat) . Fresh as a lettuce also.
Neither Simpson nor Rowbury is looking sharp - kind of struggling at the end to qualify.

while I don't disagree with you, Gatlin's outright refusal to admit that he ever cheated is what makes me dislike him. The fact that he concocted a story about sabotage that led to an innocent person getting the shit beat out of him really irks me. So that's my beef, not that he or any of those other clowns are on dope. I do think that Degrasse is clean though.
hahahahahaha
Bolt had the ladt laugh!!!!
Kma$$ gatlin doper
I've never been so excited to see Bolt win. Still the king.
I wanted Tyson to be back on top for a long time, but it looks like that dream is over.
Bolt is the greatest of all time hands down. Over any distance.
Beautiful running by Bolt. Smooth like silk. Reminiscent of Radcliffe's 2:15 marathon and Ramzi's astonishing 800/1500 in 2005. What a true champion. He really took it to those druggies. Thank God we have one clean runner to put all the dopers in their place. Long live the king.

Pretty much the only accurate prediction in this entire thread...
