Bolt recovered pretty well after that stumble but I don't think the final is even going to be that close. Gatlin looks too good

Gatlin 9.77. Can't wait to see Bolt get demolished in the final.
Wow, that was scary...but at the same time shows how great Usain is to overcome so much gap in the second half of the race.
But seeing Gatlin's 9.77 semi, I really doubt that Usain will get the gold. Let's see...
as a usain bolt fan, i am sad to say that there is no f*cking way he is beating gatlin..
what, you missed the Kenyan hurdlers again? They're the real story.
Bolt's 9.96 into a wind is equal to a 9.93 with no wind according to
http://myweb.lmu.edu/jmureika/track/wind/
Gatlin's 9.77 had a +.9 tailwind (wind must swirl in here) and is equal to 9.81.
Gatlin's is the fastest time ever in a semi at Worlds.
Ross Tucker has a vine of Bolt's fault where he nearly fell down:

Final time qualifier - two guys including one chinese at 9.99. They have 9 lanes. THey should a) let them both run or b) factor in the wind. Going to the thousandth is absurd. I think if it's a tie to the hundredth, they should consider who had the least favorable wind, which in this case would be the Chinese guy.

Confirmed it's a 9 man final in the 100. Should be good
The men's 800 semis should be awesome as well. Rudisha and Amos are in the same heat - #2.

Vicaut and Su had exactly the same time, down to the one thousandth of a second.
IAAF @iaaforg
All three of Vicaut, Bromell and Su will run in a nine-lane final. Vicaut and Su had the same time, down to thousandths.
Final heat of women's hep is coming up. Gold is going to Ennis Hill barring a disaster as she lead by 85 points and each second is worth 15 points and she has a 2:07 pb so she isn't losing.
The battel for 2-3 should be tight as they are only separated by 14 points and they all have pbs between 209 and 211. It's gonna come down to heart between Broersen of Netherlands, Theisen Eaton of Canada and Ikauniece-admdina of Latvia.
Anyone got a link to a good stream?

I'm not buying this. Bingtian Su probably was out down to thousandths. How do we know that the three athletes had the same time?
brianne thiesen eaton could be a great 800m runner. even though she died on the home stretch and got passed, she looked pretty god damned smooth through 600m

They have 9 lanes. All 9 should be in there. The idea of going to the thousandth is absurd to me anyway. I'd much rather them look at the wind gauge than tell me who ran a thousandth better.

800m semi heat 1 was interesting. 4 all going at it at the line.
