'Literally' does not mean 'not literally'.
Perhaps you were educated in Detroit public schools and so did not pick up on this subtlety.

But it is an excellent example of the liberal mind at work. Ayn Rand demonstrates how well she understands the disastrous consequences of liberal policies by precisely predicting the future... and liberals respond with personal attacks on her character.
If you can't destroy the message, destroy the messenger. That's pretty much all they got these days.

Yes because only liberals are guilty of this.
Sigh.

And on and on and on it goes.just.as.predicted. Detroit is a monument to failed liberalism, and they can not defend it for even one second, so they try to destroy the messengers any way they can. They have surrendered intellectually.

How easily DiscoGary confuses trolling with intellectual discourse.

No offense, but "Google"? Seriously?
Sorry, but there is no universe in which 'literally' can reasonably mean 'not literally'.
Wait, I know - you could care less, right?

I'm starting to think you didn't read AS if this is what you think.

Let's see. Socialist policies which sap the wealth of productive businesses and drive out the productive people who built it all, leading to empty factories and abandoned run-down towns where hopeless people live in poverty wondering what happened. As far as I know, no one left behind a magic motor, but everything else is pretty close to what happened in Detroit.
If you think she was trying to say something else, then give your interpretation of Starnesville and 20th Century Motors.
DiscoGary,
So why did Ford, GM, and Chrylser open and operate so many factories in Canada during the decline of Detroit?
Canada's taxes are higher, union representation is higher, and would be considered by many to be very liberal.
Could there be other factors involved aside from "liberal = bad" "whatever DiscoGary believe = good?"
Anyone that uses an argument containing the words "Ayn Rand" should get the word "retard" tattooed onto his forehead and his right to vote taken away for good measure.

Or, or, or, maybe even a broken clock is "right" two times a day?

Because of the Auto Pact.

Farting and allegations of racism. That's what liberals have been reduced to.
DiscoGary, your posts stand out as marble monoliths in this pool of sludge.
