I'm guessing it was really the incline bench since you were able to look in the mirror at the same time as bench.

What fast runner does bench press?
Esp 25lb
I guess 2:19 marathon is not fast enough for you.
http://blog.adamnash.com/2008/08/04/olympic-physique-bodies-at-work/Bench: 65lbs. Squat: 105lb. Resting HR: 28. VO2Max: 82.
Logic:
Person A benches 25 lbs and runs.
Person B benches 25lbs and holds a world record.
Therefore, Person A also holds a world record.
Make sense? No.
So again, stop assuming he is even fast. He could be a weak and untalented hobby jogger who got laughed at by girls.
Nobody laughs at anybody at the gym I go to...whether you're benching just the bar or benching 500 pounds.Laughing at someone will get you a quick MMA lesson from one of the bigger guys.Only n00bs laugh at people at gyms. They don't last. They either give up and keep paying the monthly fee or they get their a$$ kicked in the alley when they leave.

My cousin Ahmad is a powerlifter and does Westside. He benched 575 raw, 775 equipped. He often does close grip dumbbell work with 40 lb dumbbells. He weighs 240 pounds. I doubt many laugh at him. Nor should they the runner benching 25lb dumbbells.
"Close grip dumbell"...are you sure that is the terminology you were intending? Kinda hard to vary one's grip horizontally on a dumbell...on a barbell yes...for example, close grip barbell press to target the tris...
I'm a runner and I am not injured.
I often do bench press workouts with 25 pound dumbbells. I just do a ton of reps. Maybe people laugh at me.
Yeah I lift 25 pounders too. I don't see the problem as I'm obviously not going for bulk. Besides, I'm 6'4" so the gym weasels can lift all they want and never be as tall as me.
Sometimes I do 25 pound Dumbbells in a lifting circuit. That includes 4 sets of 25 reps, along with 5 or 6 other excersizes. Maybe the dude who posted this should do a workout for himself instead of watching girls and a guy lifting! #GAINS

What is the purpose of doing such super high reps that basically amounts to cardio?
Alan
Well done. Reminds me of Rodney Dangerfield.

Have you ever been to the track doing a workout and realized you were the fastest person on the track. Occasionally, when I'm lifting (newbie) I wonder if I could ever be the strongest person on the floor. The other day when I got to the Y(kind of late) there weren't too many people lifting. Well the next thing I knew there were only three of us left lifting. Now I'm thinking about the whole strongest on the floor thing. Soon one guy left, and it's just two of us lifting. I was like, sweet, soon as this lady leaves, I'm he man.
Obama used girly weights, pathetic, end of story. Moochelle wears the pants in that marriage, no doubt.

You are the one who needs Logic 101 lessons.

At least ONE does. That's enough to answer his rhetorical question.
in college I was doing close grip bench with 115lbs and the football players thought it was funny to laugh about it. So I told them if it's so sweet, let's do a dip off. #1 XC runner (25:10) vs. starting RB. We both put on a 45lb plate too and I out dipped him 29-25. Think before you judge.

I don't find it surprising that a runner won an endurance event that involved lifting a lower amount of weight (body weight + 45) against a heavier football player who trains for short bursts of power and speed.

Lol, Obama was straining as he was doing those 5lb reverse flys. He's a girly man, stop defending him. It's ok that he's no Arnold, let it go.

Lol this is too relatable
Everybody's gotta start somewhere. Would you make fun of a fat guy trying to run? After all, both are trying to get in shape, and the end result is a fitter, better-looking world.

Funny, only because no President in history could out lift him.
