Yes, my IP is coming out of the Midwest of the USA, but I'm an employee of an British PR firm. That's why I get the big bucks.
Oh, look. I posted from Asia, the UK, Mexico, and two places in the U.S. in just a couple of minutes.
VPN makes me :-)

We're losing so badly at this point, since all the facts and evidence is on the Salazar side, that we happy just bogging down threads with claims that everyone is a PR drone working. We're just trying to cut our losses folks.
Bingo! KMB is a pompous a$$ who believes he is so different than than those who he disagrees with even when his logic, reasoning and knowledge of the situation, facts, evidence and people directly involved is NO different than his opponents.

I love the pay at Freud :-)
I have a feeling the Brojos will NOT put this one on the front page.

How on Earth do you not know who that poster is? Is this your first visit to this world-famous message board?
Brits don't care one-pence for athletics from "across the pond".
Demonstrably false.
Let us assume for a moment that my teeth are awful; how would you insult me then?
This was fun we should play again.
I am a very angry manager at Freud. I am here to discovery why my "talent" is so upset they cannot do the job they are paid for: attacking a woman to save our client.
PS. In anger, registered my name. Now I realize that my IP can be traced. What a twonk I am.

cute
The Freud foot-soldiers are back. Will they ever learn to speak English?
Lol. When I posted to this thread I actually thought I was going to get teased for making such an obvious point. Kara herself says she was in fear of speaking out about Salazar. I believe her. We are supposed to believe her...right? Obviously that fear stems from Salazar having the full weight and support of Nike behind him.
So what is the issue? What other answer to the OP's question is there? I really would like to hear it. Who knows, maybe I am wrong.
I wasn't talking about his stating of the obvious -- well, maybe it's not as obvious to people like you and him as it is to others -- but about the other things he said, and the kinds of things he has been saying here for who knows how long. He's harmless, but his nonpareil level of disconnect from the general flow of conversations here is a genuine phenomenon.
For example, he seems to think Kara couldn't have presented her story to the public if the BBC hadn't magically materialized and provided her a platform. Really?
And he believes that the entire reason Jerry Schumacher hasn't said anything about these allegations is because his group is a Nike group -- like he's just aching to spring forth rather than let Salazar hang himself with his lies and worse as he's so efficiently doing.
If he thinks, like some of the really far-gone ding-dongs here do, that Kara is doing this on behalf of Skechers and Oiselle, then he's even worse off than I realized. Oh well.
If you don't like my analogy, try this -- he's Lloyd Christmas, and you're his Harry Dunne. You don't get along swimmingly all the time, but in the end it's clear why you two have the stubborn allegiance you do, and why you'll always be just on the outside peering in, and laughing uncomfortably at jokes you plan to look up later so you can grok the humor.
You really don't get it, "it" being a pronoun to include an indeterminate but massive amount of stuff, but you've established this in triplicate already.
Ryan is not capable of being patronizing. Neither of you. Such a bearing is not compatible with unfettered cluelessness and inexplicable agitation.
Finally, I don't know who "Tyrone ReXXXing" is, and believe me, I don't care. But I don't exactly make it a point to post anonymously here. (I guess there's been a lot of turnover since the last time I was really "active.")

Yes, it would have been extremely unlikely for Kara to say anything against Salazar and Nike at the time she was under contract with one and being coached by the other. As you have now clarified, you saw this much as a given. I'm not sure the OP does. I'm not sure the OP can whistle and tie both shoes at the same time, but that's beside the point.
But I really don't think her reasons for being reticent in her post-Nike career are rooted in what Nike could or might do to her.
Think about it.

Full quote (shorted above to fit into subject line:
"To say that Alberto has helped me find myself and my career would be a massive understatement. He has forever changed my life and I feel eternal gratitude toward him."
What changed??
Why such a massive change of heart? Why would you say such a thing if you thought he was doping his athletes, and illegally gave you drugs??
If you really thought he was doping his athletes, and you really wanted to "save the sport", you would not have said the above quote about this person.
Alberto Salazar also said that you can't possibly be the best in the world without drugs to a roomful of Duke University students. Therefore following your logic, Alberto Salazar believes that Rupp, Farah etc are all on drugs. You can't have it both ways. If you want to diss Kara, then you have to explain why Salazar suddenly doesnt believe Rupp and Farah are on drugs to get to the top when he quite clearly believes thats the only way you can get there.

My "opponents"? This illustrates perfectly the problem with some of you. I'm not here to argue or "win"; I'm actually interested in where this goes and both its proximate and ultimate effects on track and field.
And if you find me pompous, good. That's exactly the tone I'm aiming for, because I know it'll upset certain people. You're easy marks.
Also, how do you know what I know? Or that I don't know people whose lives are actually affected by this? Those were rhetorical questions.
Each time I've stated why I believe Salazar has made a thoroughly weak or contradictory argument, I have outlined why. People like Montesquieu and a few others may see things differently, but they can at least follow along. They're not like you and the others here who bear a startling resemblance to the obnoxious bird on Jafar's shoulder in Aladdin.
What reticence are you referring to? Remember, its one thing to speak out. Its a whole other thing to have your concerns printed and broadcasted by a major media outlet like the BBC. Its not clear to me what Kara was doing in between when she quit Nike and when she signed her deal with Skechers. Maybe she was afraid to speak out. But I can also imagine she was speaking out and nobody was paying attention to her. She did go to the USADA at some point with her concerns before speaking to Propublica. (that is according to Epstein). Not sure when that was. In any case, I contend that it was only when Kara got another shoe sponsor that the BBC/probublica actually listened to her and went public with her allegations. Go ahead and call me a nutty conspiracy nut. Admittedly I don't have any evidence for it. But I doubt if Epstein would have gone public with a story that only consisted of sources who had the appearance of being down on their luck and holding a grudge against Nike. KMB wrote:
