what about the heat. It'll still be 80s at 7pm. Can he make the standard in that heat? At least the humidity will be down.

Give me a break. How does cheserek pay to fly to Monaco and race? The old man really needs to leave the ncaa venue.
I like the sentiment, and I think Oregon should have to explain how this is legal, but I'm guessing maybe Athletics Kenya is paying for it? Not unlike USA Basketball taking top college players on European tours and whatnot.
As for Portland, my guess is Cheserek is rabbiting and/or doing a workout. Andrews has one job right now and that's to run 3:36.20. That would be a PR for Cheserek and he is just a few weeks off a training cycle designed to peak for a 5/10 double. Andrews on the other hand does not need to PR but does need a pacer or two.

Is this streaming? What time is the 1500?
Flotrack is streaming. The fast heat of the 1500 will go off at 9:15 PDT. It will still be mighty warm then but the sun will be off the track.
Does anyone really think Ches peaked at NCAAs? Their plan all along was to peak in July and drop some real times in big boy races with guys his own age (Diamond League/Smaller Pro meets). He didn't need to be 100% fitness at NC's to win those titles against Jenkins. Sub 3:36 is realistic with Andrews et al. He ran 3:36 in the grudge match against Lawi.

Too expensive on flotrack.
If a rabbit takes it out hard, will Andrews still have his patented finishing kick? Or will he need to stay closer to the front?
The USA meet went around 2:03 thru 800. A guy like Andrews licks his chops in that situation. But will he be as effective going thru 800 in 1:57 and 1200 in 2:56?
Will he end up a Duane Solomon in the homestretch or does he actually have a 3:36.20 in him?
Is there a free live stream somewhere?
still 90F out there. what time is the race?

Unfortunately no, but for the small fee of your soul you can watch the stream and any other races for a month on flotrack. After that you have to start sacrificing your limbs to watch the other races.

They are idiots
Yeah, I dropped them after their 297th post about a beer mile. Zero imagination. Zero professionalism. Bunch of Peter Pan Austin kids that will never mature.
