Top ten waaaaaaay too early predictions for next year:
1) North Central/St. Olaf: Tempted to say Olaf because they will have the best 1-2 punch in the nation, but Central's depth and youth will develop a lot into next year and are gamers at the big dance. Should be a great race.
3) UW Lacrosse - Just one senior in their top 5 and strong pack running. Need a low stick to come out of the wood work or they could fall, however.
4) St. lawrence - Returning top 4 with one of the best 1-2's in the nation.
5) Tufts - Return their top 3 with Nichols as a front runner for #1, could be dangerous if they have depth.
6) Eau Claire - Need depth to to piece back together a solid team, but I can't see the defending champs falling too much farther woth such talent up front.
7) Williams - Lose big pieces after this year, but are seemingly always gamers. I did not expect a runner up from them this year.
8) Carnegie Mellon - I may get heat for this but I can see Archer being a viable # 1 next year and then they just lose one senior from their 2-6 that were separated by just 10 seconds. With development of that pack, they could be a serious team next year.
9) MIT - One of the youngest teams out there this year and will have a strong 1-2.
10) Amherst - Back to back years inside top ten, good coach, good recruiting, and Mo to lead the way.
