To confirm Ruh Roh's statement, Pitone is hurt. Also, McDermott's transferring, Bilotta quit and Fortin died. We should just count Widener out of the mix right now.
Notice how he only listed 4 guys...cause Widener has no 5th man whatsoever
the real question is how CMU will respond now that they have a new coach. Also, was their 2014 regionals race just a fluke? Look at how they did at nationals.
Can Dickinson recover from losing their top 4?
Will Widener shut up the haters?
Find out, after the following messages.
Will the Dickinson regional course be changed at all?
I know last year there was speculation.
Can Hopkins use all 9 of their pole vaulters to some advantage?
Can CMU have their top 5 through the mile in no slower than 4:40?
Can Charlie Marquardt Choke on mom's spaghetti at Nationals?
When will Widener widen her?
Will dick-in-son finally get charged with incest?
Answers to all of these questions at Regionals 2015.
All joking aside either Carnegie Mellon or Widener will come home with the title. Carnegie Mellon will have the best depth but Widener will have the top talent. So it will all come down to how the top individuals do on the other teams. If the top 3 Widener guys can't grab single digit finishes, then CMU will take the win with ease as they will have the strongest 5th man by far. #hearditherefirst
Nah, Widener doesn't have anything to work with. CMU probably has the best shot at a win out of the top 5 from last year, with Dickinson or Haverford a close second.
Not a chance Dickinson will be in the top 4. Haverford and CMU will be battling it out for first with Widener in the mix for either second or third. Hopkins will be fourth.
Oh right, the ol' Dick graduated a lot of dudes this past year. I agree with Hop for fourth though, good call.
You guys do realize that Etown returns 7 guys who are sub 26:20 guys and are also getting back M Shenk who is a 14:40 5k guy who was over seas the past two years? Going to get spicy to say the least
Etown only had 4 runners under 26:40 last season at regionals. Distant 7th on the team standings

lol 26:20. That's not fast
How many teams make it this year? 4? 5?
26:20 is what most teams #5 ran at Mideast regionals.

I say 4. Last year the region proved that it was deserving of the 5 spots because of how well Dickinson and Haverford finished at nationals. They also only got 5 spots because of how close those two teams were. Had they been farther apart at regionals, Dickinson wouldn't have made it. I feel like the race will be more spread out this year and They'll take 4 because of the history of the region but not stretch things to 5.
Looks like a lot of the contenders are competing at a rowan meet in october. Should be an interesting race between atlantic and mideast.
Rowan will be interesting for sure. Too bad about princeton though-- really liked that course. They said too many D1 teams were coming so they booted a few D3 teams.
Anyone see the Mainline invite? Haverford put 8 in front of Widener's 2nd, and 8 in front of Swat's 1st. Haverford looking properly deep this year.
