Kara was available for interviews: she did one with FloTrack (who naturally shies away from asking anything drug-related).

While it's not necessarily their (Magness/Goucher) responsibility to make themselves available for interview, it's frustrating to see them come out and perform a closed interview with Epstein/BBC and then not talk about it to anyone else. But it should also be LetsRun's job to go out and seek interviews with these people to get their perspective in an open environment.

Metaphorically speaking, during a trial a witness is to be made available to be interviewed by both the plaintiff's and defendant's lawyers. It seems wrong for the Goucher's and Magness not to be available for other news outlets to ask questions too.

1) I'm not sure what we are supposed to ask them. They already spoke to the BBC/Epstein about this. The prosecution has made its case. Now it's time to talk to the defense.

2) It would be have been impossible to interview the Gouchers on Friday night considering we were in Eugene on Friday.

3) I talked to Magness last night.

I'm guess I could have asked to formally interview him on the record but his interview just went up on the BBC. He's made the allegations, now it's time for the NOP to respond. Then it may go back to Magness.

What am I supposed to ask him? Are you a bitter coach who couldn't hack it so you made these up because you got fired? That's not what happened. Magness and I talked way back in 2012. He was VERY concerned about the allegations then but just didn't feel comfortable coming public as he feared being blackballed out of the sport.

Salazar's right hand man - Pete Julian was there as well. I didn't interview him because as was the case with Magness I assumed he didn't want to talk on the record about anything.

As it stood, I stayed up to 3:30 am just working on the interviews we did do.

The NOP and NIke have always hardly ever talked. I'll fly out to Portland to hear their side whenever they want to. A journalist went to Alberto's house and he declined to comment.

It was done, but it was under a controlled environment where phrases can be cut and sliced, not in a somewhat unexpected situation with a bunch of microphones in their face after just running a race. It's unfair to corner people who have nothing to do with the story when all they want to do is continue running.

You could ask straightforward questions of people not In NOP in the name of clean sport.Maybe you should ask all runners what medications they are on as part of the standard interview. See how that goes. Make it as routine as 'what is your next race. ask everyone like you asked Cam and Rowbury.. You don't have to suspect someone. You want to Know everyone is clean,

Well unfortunately for the NOP crew there is more information than progression that causes people to ask such questions.

I didn't say that LRC had interviewed them, but that they have in fact been thoroughly interviewed. So it makes sense to not redouble efforts when there are those out there who have not discussed the matter/s.

Magness, you claim you had access to Rupp's complete lab file (that Salazar asked you to review) yet the only item you present out of the file is one picture that has a single line that lists "prednisone and testosterone." Is that the only line/element out of the whole file that you believe presents evidence of wrongdoing? If not, what are those other items?

Steve did you every take thyroid meds while training or in competition? Why?

Do you know of other athletes who take thyroid meds?

Why did you wait so long to make public your accusations?

They could also delve into what types of relationships Magness had while a NOP employee and whether he upheld professional standards of conduct with all fellow NOP employees, partners , etc.

If one was a journalist I'm sure there would be all kinds of questions that one would want to ask. Or you could just genuflect to the almighty Epstein who is so perfect he asked "all there was to ask." Yeah right.

At present Alberto has not answered one single question on this list, even though he's known all of the charges for as long as a month. Until he answers them his accusers don't even owe him one single word more. So until Salazar breaks his silence and answers, all the NOPer fanboys can STFU because they have literally nothing that undermines any of the charges.

Rojo is wrong on one point. I had Emory Mort, who was our first employee, to go to the meet on Saturday night as he lives in Portland. We were still in Eugene for NCAAs.

We had him credentialed. He reported back Kara did not talk about any drug issues. So I purposely sent him to the meet so he could report about Kara.
