No offense but that is dumber than hell.
/OK, let's do the math, shall we?
Air resistance is proportional to mass ^ (2/3). Which just goes to show that you are a moron…
But thank you for playing anyway….
/Here is perhaps the stupidest thing ever posted on LRC: . . .
Perhaps I should give you credit for being a reasonably good troll. Certainly you are either monumentally stupid or a reasonably good troll.
/OK, you cannot possibly be that stupid…
Mass is somehow related to volume.
Volume is somehow related to surface area.
Surface area is somehow related to cross sectional area.
Cross sectional area is somehow related to air resistance.
Troll away. Or stupid away. Whichever applies.
/OK, so you are taking stupid to a whole new level here.
"The cross sectional area of an object can be equal for a 2 pound book as a 50 pound slab of steel the same size. They could have the same drag if they were the same size regardless of mass."
But obviously you are trolling as we all know that two objects of the same material clearly will have the same volume regardless of their mass.
Well done

/You can't possibly be that stupid. Seriously, there is no way.
…
Seriously, do you need someone to re-read the entire thread for you?
…
Honestly, you could not pick up on all of this? If you actually have trouble following this then I seriously doubt that you even have a high school diploma let alone an advanced degree from Berkeley.
Anyway, it's been fun.
Your trolling caught me. Or your stupidity. Either way I give you credit.
/OK, that settles it.
You really ARE that stupid. Holy shit!
/Honest question - and not I am not kidding - are you brain damaged or something?
ALL of the students from EVERY course I have taught at Berkeley would have ZERO trouble with any of this. The fact that it is above your head (or you are just too stubborn to admit to your having missed the obvious) leads me to believe that you are not bright enough to get into UC as a freshman undergrad.
