Rowland's squad was far more impressive, probably for 10% of the payroll.

I thought they ran pretty well.
Here are my takeaways as an NCAA Division I Coach -
Great performance's from Salazar's group.
- Farah absolutely blasted the field. He was capable of closing in 52" if he needed to, such a great fartlek 10,000m that shows great training strength
- Rupp looked great. He finally looked full of running, on top of his stride, fighting for every last stride. Look, you can't teach what these young Africans can do. They have phenomenal explosion and speed with no musculature.
- Levins... a great run. 27:07 pretty solo is impressive. This will be a great year for him. I expect him to be Top 5 in the 2016 Rio 10,000m if the weather cooperates.
- Rowburry. She looked flat. She didn't have it today. Perhaps over-training at this point in the season, but looked very mechanical and choppy. We should see her improve.
- Centrowitz. Absolute stud race. He ran with conviction and with a plan to win. You could see he wanted to win this race and put himself in the best position to do so. Great speed and strength. Can you imagine, he will be in position to win another Olympic medal in 2016. He can win Gold in 2015 WC in Beijing.
As a coach, I give his squad an A. This was a great meet from Salazar's group and anyone that thinks otherwise hasn't coached a group of athlete's at an important meet.

Pre is the ONLY Diamond League meet where Rupp has EVER managed win an international race. (Although his personalized 10,000 time trial in 2014 wasn't a Diamond League race.)
Obviously NOP/Nike give a massive fvck about Americans doing well in the NIKE PREFONTAINE INVITATIONAL, you dipsh!t.
They. Just. Failed. Massively.
The problem is, I can't tell if you are a moron or trolling me.
Referencing ONE race that they set up in a NON-CHAMPIONSHIP year for Rupp to run fast, not win...RUN FAST...does not in any way imply that they weigh the Pre classic over the World Championships. Honestly, troll or not, I applaud you because I am agitated as I type this, struggling to understand how someone can be so narrow-minded and ignorant.
Am I a fan of Galen Rupp, Shannon Rowbury, and Treniere Moser? Yes. Am I an NOP "fanboy"? Absolutely not. I like these runners because they are talented top level Americans and I am ethnocentric. I support plenty of other athletes that I will defend when idiots come around successfully trying to piss me off.
10/10, but you are still a tool, dude.
You are desirous of an outcome that isn't reality. Soak your head in a bucket of ice water -- for charity if you have to.
NOP did not achieve the intended victories on their home turf. The focus will be one the coaches to get results. That is how it works in all sports--win or get replaced. Why should T&F be treated any differently?
I really enjoy your analysis of the major track meets. Keep up the good work
Wait, aren't the NOP performances indicators that Pre is not a major track meet?

You misunderstood the simple expression here.
You misunderstand that you're a sad escuse for a human being with only enough working braincells to turn on your computer and type garbage.
Moser ran her 4th best 1500 ever only 1.4 secs off her pr, and has never run this fast before June.
If you weren't such a constant idiot you might be able to see that simple fact.
Not an NOP fanboy here, Solinsky blasting Rupp in that Payton Jordan 10k might be my favorite running moment.
That said, Salazar has stated that the goal of the group is to get medals.
Farah has 2 Olympic golds, 3 world golds and 1 silver
Rupp has 1 Olympic silver, 4th place finish at worlds
Centro has an Olympic 4th place, 1 silver and 1 bronze at worlds
Rowbury is a legit medal threat, one of the 4-5 best 1500 runners in the world
kinda hard to argue with that...
The Prefontaine Meet was the best Diamond League Meet last year and will be the best this year. NOP runners ran great - even Rupp and Rowberry who finished 3rd and 4th. Don't forget it was Rupp's season opener and Rowberry lost to 3 top runners: Jenny SIMPSON USA 4:00.98 Mercy CHERONO KEN 4:01.26 Sifan HASSAN NED 4:01.65
Centrowitz, Levins and Farah all ran great. Educate yourself before making comments.
To be more correct...
Anybody picking on or hating on NOP after these performances is:
1. Making these statements purely as sentiments JUST because they dont like NOP (fair)
2. An obnoxious hater who doesn't know the value of performances that dont spell "winning"
Amirite?

Everyone knows Stick with eharm and salad-bar are the scum of the earth. They have no intelligent thoughts on track and field, or anything in life. Just two pathetic losers.

Farah - very strong result, still the boss at 10,000M.
Rupp - better than solid rust buster
Centro - great race, held off hard-charging Kiprop at end
Levins - career best
Rowbury - strong run; never going to be faster than Simpson while the latter is in her prime.
NOP transforms *just* *in* *time* for Rio. You heard it here first.
Never tested positive too.
perfectly summarized. i think things are fine

I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
