This is the typical ultra runner doing back-to-back trainings.
Dude looks fit and it would be cool to know his PR. Also, great name. Longnecker? Holy smokes that is a baller last name.
Back-to-back 2:41s aren't that impressive, but a cool thing to talk about nonetheless. I'm thinking he could go sub 2:30 next week if he wanted.
Good job Longnecker. Get on here and drop a comment about the feat. I'm betting number two was easier.

Yes. The first one loosened up quite a bit. And then it just flowed.
" he looked mildly winded and was hardly out of breath"
Refer to Mike Wardian.
I know this guy. He is as baller as him name implies. One time he choked out a grizzy bear and then breast fed it back to health.
Although I don't really "know" him, I've met Bobby a couple of times. He's modest and self-deprecating. I for one think this is quite an accomplishment, although apparently it's routine for most LRC posters.
If you ain't first, you're last!
Well done Bobby!

No one is disparaging the guy. Cool story and the guy seems to be a baller. Good for him. 2:41 is not that fast, though, even for two days in a row. It is more of a cool story than anything else, kind of like the beer mile or something.
It is a great accomplishment that 99% of the LRC crowd could not accomplish, but keep it in perspective. I think that is respectful to the guy. You want this to be the runners world forums where he gets his ego stroked for finishing a 5k?
Longnecker strikes me as the kind of guy that would take a dump on LRC and go hit up a 12-miler before downing a few longnecks of Beast regular.
Typical LRC response? Hobby jogger. I can do it any day of the week of course!
Looks like his PR is 2:33:21 at the Tuscon Marathon in 2013. Great job Bobby!!!!

He can easily go under 2:30. Man is strong as an ox.
Get a few weeks rest and go slam a new PR, Longnecker.
Longnecker is my co-pilot.

No disrespect to the guy, but is "longnecker" really a cool last name?
It seems like a keyword search label for adult websites to me.
His birth name is Hercules Cockdiesel, but he went to a religious high school and had to change it.
This is more responses than I thought. I posted this because when I saw him in Kalamazoo when he passed me at mile 24 for him on Sunday he was smiling and said great job.

Maybe you ought to spend a little less time on pron sites.

I don't know anything about pron sites but I do love porn sites.
Yawn. Chuck Engle does this about every weekend.
Prime candidate to join the most elite marathon group on the planet, the MarathonManiacs. If he make's more than $25,000 a year he won't be considered for membership as that will be over group maximum limit.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
