He has won some big junior and indoor events, and 2013 Worlds without Rudisha and pre-Amos. He did beat Rudisha in Milan in 2011 with a 1:43.50. Following your logic, he should have done great in London. Let's see: 1:43.20 for 6th place. Looking like he has regressed since moving to US. Environment is important though. Only time (9 to 10 months) will tell; will he make the next U.S. 800 star? Hope OTC can show him around campus a bit.
