Enjoyed it as usual. Inspired for another year.
The course in Boston makes it so unique and interesting to watch every year.

I second that! Great race.
Fun to follow. Great to see them contend. Strong runs
Great race, great city, nice people.
Always my favorite marathon to watch.

Agreed. Both races were real RACES, and interesting to see how they panned out. Good to see some american presence at least giving hope for the upset. Fun to watch, not boring. (and some marathons simply are boring to watch)
I lived in Boston for 1 year. One of the best year's of my life
The BAA Marathon was fantastic. And Let's not over look Hilary Dionne's race. A local runner for BAA fifteenth female overall 2:40 with a head wind
Really enjoyed watching the races develop!
Was able to watch online from my adopted home in southern Mexico.
Grew up near the course, first saw the run in '73, I rode my bike over to the 6 mile mark in Framingham by the RR tracks.
Had the privilege of being coached in HS by Pat McMahon (Ireland), who was 3rd in 1970 and 2nd in 1971 at Boston.
Chased the race in my dad's car in '75, stopping 4 times before getting to the Pru for the historic 2:09:55 by Boston Billy.
Once you've seen a few of these in person, it's just in your blood. Nothin' in the world like it. Long live the BAA Marathon!
I'm a geezer at 58, but still harbor a desire to run my first Boston.
Agreed all around!
The Boston Marathon is our equivalent of the Masters at Augusta: iconic course; the weather can change everything; you never know what will happen.

Kind of like a box of chocolates.

Ritz & Desi represent - Go Michigan!
Great races just in terms of pure drama - I counted 5 lead changes on Boylston between the two women.
You forgot me! I also made this race unique and interesting to watch.
Great race. I taped it because of meetings and watched it all afternoon. There was no risk of learning the outcome prematurely because none of my colleagues cares!
