Have to disagree with you, although this is a different argument. If you think running 14:52 for 5K or 2:25 for the marathon is "slow to average" then you must not look at many road race results. What % of people ran faster than 2:25 at Chicago? New York? Boston? How many people break 15 minutes for 5K in weekend road races? 80 hours per week?Where do you think peole work anyway? Anyone that has a wife, kids, full-time job, coaches, and runs those times without bragging about it has my respect. Anyone who says those times are "slow to average unless they work 80 hours per week" doesn't.
