two things that I think are important. This first one is surely a minority POV on letsrun, but if you've already mentally given up on running, there's no use in trying to fake your way through it the rest of your time in college. College is a critical time for your development as a person.
For me, I wish I'd have quit running sooner and started the focus on the rest of my life. When I went on to grad/professional school, I started out in something of a deficit compared to my colleagues because I had no clue what it was like to devote my life to school and my future career. I never did anything but running -- stayed at school all summer and took summer classes so i could train, never had a real internship or a job anywhere.
But as my schooling continued it was only because of the hard work and dedication that I learned through running that I was able to be a legitimate student with good job prospects.
SPARKNOTES: figure out what you want to do with your life, do it as seriously as you can. Balance your interests. If you can't run anymore, life is short, move on to something you'll do forever and pick up running when you can.
