They said that none of Farah's PRs come from time trial style races. Correct me if I'm wrong but his 1500m was in a paced race

Simply by the numbers...
1500 and 5000 PRs were in Monaco
10000 was is Pre Classic
I'm not sure about his mile PR in the Crystal Palace 10 years ago, but his other track PRs were in paced races.
You have to consider that one of the two founders is an alleged coach who posted on this site a few months ago that he didn't know you could coach speed--while he was "coaching" in NCAA D1. The biggest morons on this site are the people running it and nothing they do in terms of lack of knowledge or 3rd grade writing ability should surprise you.

"10000 was is"?
That race was paced for Kiprop, not for Farah. That's probably what the Brojos meant. Farah ran fast because he was trying to win. Kiprop ran really fast because he was going for a world record. It wasn't a time trial for Farah.

I wrote the line in that article, and yes, that's what I meant.
His 1500, 5000 and 10,000 PRs all came in paced races (by which I mean there was a rabbit in those races). Obviously the goal of those races (especially the 1500 and 10,000) was to run fast, but I view them differently than his 2-mile WR, where it was just him against the clock. Maybe I shouldn't.
The point I was trying to make is that those PRs came as a result of Farah racing for the win. He finished 2nd in the 1500 and narrowly beat Lagat in the 5000. In the 10,000, he took off with three laps to go but his main goal seemed to be winning the race.
I guess you can argue those were time-trial races, but my point is that Farah almost always races for the win. Records, if they happen, are a byproduct of that (with the 2-mile an obvious exception).
