Wow, Lisbon looks beautiful. Lead men all seem tightly bunched for now all looking relaxed with two pacers in the lead. Felix still at the head of of the women's pack. Really difficult for me to get splits.

the link doesn't work. The page loads but the playback is just a big black screen. Anyone else?
The girls gone through 8k in about 0:26:02. (Rose Chelimo).
Maybe try using a different browser?
This is why I was worried about getting up early for this race. Coverage is poor. I can deal with the whole thing being in Portuguese, but no splits? More shots of the masses than the leaders?
I'm not a fan of this broadcast.
This works for me, but it isn't in english
Pacer has seriously gapped the lead men and no one seems interested in joining. All watching each other, I guess. No world record, then?
firefox?
Men's lead pack down to 6, and from the looks of it, it's been pretty quick the whole way, pretty strung out and close to single file. Don't know if they've been announcing splits (don't speak Portuguese). Anyone know?
7k in 21:29
Haven't gotten up early to watch a race in a very long time and I'm stuck watching this? At least I'll get my run out of the way today.
Great coverage!
I also really can't see any reason to show the elite when there was some talk of a WR (which surely will not happen) before. I think it's a good decision to show old people walking over a bridge.
Sometimes it's very difficult to be interested in distance running.
Mo off the lead pack
Farah seriously struggling. Dropped by the pack. Tibet at 0:21:42 at 8k.
Farah 10 meters off the back of the lead pack of 4+ pacer
And no wond! Acccording to the broadcast, they went through 8k in 10:02!
Did anyone see the 2nd place guy of the "mini marathon" get super pissed at the first place guy when he hugged him after they both finished? That was super weird.... I wonder what happened on the course.
why would someone pay money to enter a footrace only to walk it carrying a backpack and wearing chinos? why not just walk around the city for free?
If that's correct, they're on world record pace, ~57.14. Must be either wrong or way too fast to keep up.
8k corrected to 21:44, which predicts a 57:19.
Mo dropped but he may be even sensible taking his foot off the gas a little.
The broadcast had a split of 21:44 for the leaders at 8k. That can't be right. That's 57:18 pace.
What I can tell you is that the lead pack is down to four, and Mo Farah isn't in it. It's Stephen Kibet, Wilson Too (rabbit), Micah Kogo and one other runner.
Now it looks like Kogo has made a break for it. It is strung out up front.
Farah was in fourth last I saw.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
