The crashes are likely to be a software issue rather than a hardware issue if you have a decent machine, which I presume you do as a website person.
You CAN right click on a Mac, along with a bunch of other trackpad functions that go beyond L and R clicks (though I am not a Mac fan).
Tons of RAM (which is now dirt cheap) and high processor speed to make the caching more efficient.
Single biggest improvement will be to stop leaving 50 tabs open at once. No one can hold 50 threads in their head at once, so get a little more disciplined about how you're working to be more efficient. If you tell me you're reading 50 books today, I'm going to suggest you're following zero of them.
Get a second monitor so that you can double what you're viewing. Or even get a really big second monitor so that you can have two windows at a readable size on it.
