I'm most impressed with Chris May's performance, an 11 sec pb for a 14:22. I think Mach and Whitaker for Malone also turned in decent performances. Perez ran a similar caliber time to how he performed in Indoor Gliacs. I think the guys mentioned ran well for their season opener, though Orndorf maybe a little off. The biggest surprise for me was Jani Lane running 4:06. He has over a month before conferences though and an additional week after that to hit a provisional time. Most of the GLIAC sprinters seemed a little off, probably just shaking off the rust. I understand the GVSU-SVSU dual meet has been moved indoors.
Apologies. I took a quick break during my lumch break to check results, it appears I missed quite a bit. Great showing from Chris May. He had a solid season running unattached last year, nice to see him running well. Mach did not run well at all. Injured? Bad trip? Burnt out? He should be fine I'm sure. Jani Lane should be running much faster than that. Not sure what is up with that? Any other teamesrace llast weekend?
