Hello. I am a sophomore in high school and I have just completed my indoor track season. I ran 4:45 in the mile. I was running 40-45 miles per week and did about 1-2 workouts per week, most not very intense. I would just like to know what a realistic goal is for this spring in the mile and two mile. I have never run the two mile but my coach thinks I can run sub 10 this spring. My goals are between 4:32-4:36 in the mile and sub 10 in the two mile. In the spring I'll be running 50-55 miles per week with about 2-3 workouts per week. Are my goals realistic? Please feel free to share your input. It will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
